What can we create when we weave together intention and integrity? ⁣

I have tried to cultivate a life that centers around core values that speak to a focus on connection and community, empowerment and sustainability. That has informed the way I approach my work and the businesses I help grow. I believe images have the power to magnify the unique magic in others. When I am fortunate enough to partner with people who feel the same about their own efforts, well, that's PURPOSE.⁣

Working with Maadili Collective has been an experience fueled with a passion for bringing something beautiful and good into the world. Their range of fair trade products, including handwoven baskets, horn jewelry and accessories, and textiles, are all ethically created using natural and locally sourced materials by artisan co-ops in Uganda.⁣ Maadili means "fair and honest" in Swahili. And those threads are truly woven into every facet of the business. "We foster partnerships with small-scale communities and wholeheartedly believe that business can be a momentum for change." ⁣

I wanted to showcase the beautiful interplay of colors, patterns, textures and forms that are featured in the Maadili Collective product line. When creating artful product photography for a business I often wish to combine elements together in groupings to demonstrate how well the products work together, helping communicate the brand aesthetic while also encouraging sales of multiple items.

Working with Nicole was one of the best decisions I have ever made as I prepared to launch my business. She was professional, encouraging, diligent and very transparent. Nicole was extremely communicative and organized with her process which ensured that expectations were established and ultimately achieved. I hope to work with Nicole again in the future as my business develops and I am in need of more high quality product photography. It was refreshing to feel like a partner in the creative process.
